So the morning after my party with family and friends (which went super late) we got up (entirely too early) packed and drove to the coast. Lovely Morro Bay and San Luis Obispo...aaahhhh! The Big Sis and Brother-in-law and The Kidlet's Cousin accompanied us and we had a swell time playing in the surf (ahaha, get it, swell, surf, ocean waves....swell...eh heh heh...never mind) getting sandy, reading, drawing (I wrote thank you notes) shopping, eating (Thank you Firestone Grill!!!)

The birthday fairies were kind to me and when we went to UO. I found the most delightful items on clearance!!! It was pretty awesome! I've never been so happy with my wardrobe as I currently am right now!!!

The weather reports were forcasting showers all day Sat. but when we arrived we found it to be perfect coastal weather, chilly-ish in the shade warm in the sun with a few drifty clouds. Then it said the next day would be raining all day but it proved to be just an overcast cloudy day that only rained later when we left for home (icky to drive in)

I had a splendid time and it turned out to be a marvelous weekend and a wonderful and unforgettable birthday.

If you ever make it to San Luis be sure to check out their Urban Outfitters, Booboo Records, and the stationary shop Paper Sky.....you'll die at the beauty (and some of the prices...sniffles) but you can find some things that you can afford as well as some great ideas for things you can make yourself.

Hope your weekend was equally lovely! What did you do?

Lovies and lumberjacks,

-K

All of your outfits are adorable!! I love the blue dress a lot, :)

All the kiddie pics are too too sweet. They look happy, and they are dressed soo cute! The pics with them with their feet in the water are the best!

Happy Birthday!!-sorry it's late :P

Thank you Sara! You're always so good about leaving comments! Thank you! They are greatly appreciated!

Btw, belated birthday wishes are still as awesome as ones given on the exact day...it makes it last that much longer which is awesome!

Thank you!!!!

Thanks my dear! We didn't plan it that way either! I guess we were both in the nautical mood knowing we were heading to the coast! ;-) Either that or we are turning into one of those married couples that morphs into each other! ;-) Hee hee!

It was a great birthday indeed! Thank you!
