Bubbles and words.

The kidlet has been obsessed with bubbles lately....as well as bugs....and unfortunately for me he says both words the same "buuuuuuh...piece!" And I have to guess if he's asking for me to get the bubbles please or come look at a bug please. We need to work on more sign language.....the words he can sign are now intelligable enough for me to understand but all the new words are coming in droves and a lot sound alike and others sound nothing like the real word. Help, for instance sounds like "Oh" and we're moving into a new time of frustration with him not being able to convey what he needs or wants. Oy....we shall see what happens.

Beautiful Bean and Sprout

This has been on repeat all day! The kidlet literally stops whatever he's doing and sits and watches the entire thing, shouting out the things he knows the words to. "BOAT! BIRD!" Soooo, lovely.

Today was a lovely productive day, I started a couple wee projects that I need a couple things from the store to finish, but once they're done I'll post some before/after shots.

I absolutely adore these and would LOVE to be so talented as to make my own and add lights into them. Wouldn't they be AWESOME lanterns? Imagine them as a soft-glowing nightlight in the kidlets room! I would be forced to change the entire theme of his room and would do so willingly if I could be so crafty (or so rich) as to own these suckers! Sigh.....

Black (and white) Friday

Not much time, I've got to run and get ready! Argyle Pimps are playing a show tonight and it's been EONS since they've performed! I'm so excited and can't wait to get there! The kidlet is being dropped off at the Grand'rents house then we are blowing this Popsicle stand!

Bikes and pregos and things like that

Gosh almighty but I do love this bike! Just saw it in a magazine the other day then it popped up in the site of a blog I just discovered. It's really so awesome! Fabulous photographer taking adorable pics of his wife one a week through the pregnancy. I'm KICKING myself so hard for not taking at least once a month during my prego months with the kidlet. POO! Oh well, I am so computer incompetent I don't know how to post links that simply say, "click HERE" and have it work so here it is, messy looking and way uncool!

Watery Wednesday Wedding Dresses

Good morning poppets! Seeing as today is Wednesday it is time for another installment of underwater pics. Today's theme, WEDDINGISH DRESSES!

It's on the brain, what can I say? The last couple days have been spent trying to dial in more details (ie:TIME!) As always there are many people with different ideas and I've been praying that, while all the ideas are appreciated, people will learn to read the bride and know when to shut their mouths and try to put together HER wedding instead of their own idea of what her wedding should be. Here's hoping!

Right now, we're trying to get some stuff squared away, if things work out the way she'd like we'll be getting this wedding together in 2 MONTHS! WEEEEEE! I work best (ie:most productively...ie: I'm an impatient procrastinator....ew.) under these conditions. It's all pretty much hanging on one detail. Pray that detail will cooperate ;-)

Swings (wish we had a yard)

Today I am puttering around the house, same old same old... My soon-to-be-wed cousin stopped by for a bit and we tinkered around with some ideas for a wedding dress for her. It looks like it's going to not only work but also be incredibly unique, fantastic, ethereal, and AFFORDABLE!!!!! She is going to have her sis make over a dress I bought last year and NEVER ended up wearing, it never seemed quite right. SO glad it never worked for me, she's going to hem, embellish and do all kinds of snazzy thing we are super excited about! We also found an AWESOME steampunk emporium site (gentlemansemporium.com) where she will probably end up getting some stuff for her fiance to wear for the wedding. IT'S GOING TO BE AWESOME! I CAN'T WAIT!

Sooo, I must get back to housework but here are my pics for the day, something I wish I had and was currently enjoying rather than doing house stuff. :-)
