Underwater Thursday!!!!!

So I know I have been rather lax this last week with posting (my apologies to both of you ;-)) and NOW on top of that I am posting Watery Wednesday on THURSDAY! EGAD, THE HORROR!

But I'm afraid you shall have to get over it.

Anywho, here are some pics from last week. We went swimming with the Alliekins and had ourselves a lovely time that is until the evil of old Navy flip-flops struck with deft precision and caused Allie to slip and fall on the steps of the pool (poor thing)

All that aside.... VERONA CLEO has FINALLY JOINED US! I will post pics soon if Allie (formerly MTB) is alright with it. Allie labored Monday and finally popped that cutesicle out and HEAVENS TO BETSY she is beeeeautiful!

As of late I have been perusing more and more of Etsy in preparation for starting my own account and selling all the things I have in my head that will hopefully come to fruition. (Fingers crossed!) In doing so I have come across the most delightful pair of girls. Seriously, watch above video and moon over the beautiful whimsy that makes up their abode. (Sadly, according to Francesca's Etsy account info she's movie across the country. I'm a little sorrowful for these girls I don't even know to be losing each other.)

I posted both their etsy accounts and Francesca's blog as well (I really wish I could learn how to do that "click (here)" thing that everyone and their mother seems to be able to do.) They have these photos that make you say, "That's it, the charming life I've always dreamed of!", because you don't see them on the bad hair days, cleaning toilets, or botching cooking.....no, instead you get to enjoy the highlights of their lives....

Underwater TUESDAY!!!

Ok, so I know I usually wait till Wednesdays to post underwater pictures but I can't wait till then. Again, thanks to Marcus for getting these shots so I can have these AMAZING PHOTOS!!!!!! (I am wearing a curtain I found at a Thrift Store a couple weeks back for a dollar!!!!) I can't thank him enough! I don't believe in astrology but I am an Aquarius Pisces and I admit there is just something about the pull of water for me. I'm enamored with it! These pictures capture some of the magic it holds for me and I hope it translates to you as well.

Santa Cruz Frolic

Whilst we were gone on our loverly trip to Santa Cruz with the In-lawsies we had the great fortune of them also taking us to the Boardwalk. Touristy? Sure!!!! Fun? OF COURSE!?!?!! The Kidlet LOVED the Carousel although it took the second ride to make him certain of this instead of slightly unsure. I kept thinking, "JOIN US MICHAEL!!!" every time I saw anything from the beloved and campy Lost Boys movie. We had a blast and I have more shots from the trip over all (the train ride through the redwoods will be next) but for now I just wanted to show some of the loveliness of the lights of the Boardwalk.

Hope the rest of the week flies by and you get to next weekend without anything too traumatic happening between now and then!

Watery Wednesday Wedding Dresses

Good morning poppets! Seeing as today is Wednesday it is time for another installment of underwater pics. Today's theme, WEDDINGISH DRESSES!

It's on the brain, what can I say? The last couple days have been spent trying to dial in more details (ie:TIME!) As always there are many people with different ideas and I've been praying that, while all the ideas are appreciated, people will learn to read the bride and know when to shut their mouths and try to put together HER wedding instead of their own idea of what her wedding should be. Here's hoping!

Right now, we're trying to get some stuff squared away, if things work out the way she'd like we'll be getting this wedding together in 2 MONTHS! WEEEEEE! I work best (ie:most productively...ie: I'm an impatient procrastinator....ew.) under these conditions. It's all pretty much hanging on one detail. Pray that detail will cooperate ;-)

Ethereal whimsical exquisite....

My cousin is getting married to one of our best friends in about 4 months. I am so very ecstatic for them and I have white ethereal dresses on my mind. This is one of those situations (like so many) that I suddenly wish I had tons of money just so I could buy stuff for someone else. She tried on the most exquisite dress that was $1000 (ooo, on sale for $750) might as well be $10,000!!! She was so absolutely stunning in it but sadly won't be able to buy it. She is so very ingenious though, I can't wait to see what she sews/alters and how one of a kind awesome it will be. And if she doesn't, it won't even matter, she's so beautiful she could wear sackcloth and she'd still be stunning! Sigh.....
